Platelet-Rich Plasma Injections for Lower Back Pain


 Platelet-rich plasma injections (PRPIs) might be better than other (including steroid injections) for patients with lower back pain in reducing and enhancing patient satisfaction, without increasing the risk of major complications or serious adverse events.
 For low who received PRPI, disability measures were up to 6 months after treatment before while MRI findings unchanged from baseline.
 The included systematic reviews did not report any events related PRPIs.
 We find studies reporting on comparisons between PRPI conservative treatments such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, exercise, physiotherapy that met inclusion criteria this report.
